Today... As the designated activities coordinator for the many I call visitors, I decided to take the crew on a wholesome outing to Deetering Farms. This place is a secluded farm on the outskirts of Historic Coburg. We packed into the car, with buckets in hand and made our way through the peach fields...taking special care to select only the most perfect fruit. Fifteen Dollars, and an hour later, we walked away with two buckets of fresh peaches, 10 eggplants, a purple pepper, a flat of blueberries, and one apple... Together we will be riding high for the week...
I just finished the blueberry pie (which was devoured upon sight) and the peach pie is in the oven...Though I fear it's fate will soon be the same as the one that came before.
