- Miss Clare
- I am a not-so recent college graduate. Receiving my Masters in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in technology. I am 26 at the moment, still a crazy magnet. No word on the book yet... this is the closest I have gotten to publishing anything lately. I am the tech rep at an elementary school in town, and spend my days updating and fixing anything that goes wrong. I love the experience and look forward to every day. In my spare time, I cook, clean, knit, sing, and dance. Dad is still 77, Corky is 20-something, and mom is spending the rest of her days in Maui...

I've been there. It's a cool town, I'm partial to Yachats though. Doesn't matter- I love all things Oregon coast.
The beach there is totally fantastic.
Not only is Bandon a cool town, but it is home to some of the coolest people. Oh, and dont forget about the squeeky cheese and cranberries, major industries around those parts.
I agree, the squeeky cheese and cranberries are awsome as well, but it is a shame that Tilamook bought them out and fired all the oompa-loompas... Now they only have a few kinds of cheese, and no more cranberry-walnut, which was one of my favorites... oh well...
Ya know the last time I went in there they offered me a job... they said that I came in so much, that I might as well work there. I thought that was a pretty big compliment. I used to live down the street, and my sister and I memorized the cheese video they had going all the time... "under the careful hand and the watchful eye of the master cheese maker, milk undergoes a miraculous transformation....the chedar is stacked 2 high, then three high, this is the hand chedaring of the cheese..." so on and so forth. I miss that place.
I will have to go back and visit some time soon.
