This blog is really the daily rantings of a 26 year old teacher that is trying to entertain herslef by any means possible. Very strange and interesting photos, family, and friends.
Hey, we have matching ankles! My Rt leg out-side scar looks just like that. I have another shorter one on the in-side. Things to be prepared for: bionic leg MAY be micro-shorter than generic leg; P.T. BLOWS; bionic ankle will always be a little bigger than generic as long as screws and plates remain, and screw-head outlines will probably be visible if you flex your ankle inward; if you have hardware anywhere near your actual joint, you may as well give those 6" stilettos to your best friend, as you won't be able to stand on them ever again; P.T. BLOWS; expect some swelling to come and go for at least a year, especially when on your feet a lot or excessive walking. And, for emphasis, PT BLOWS! Glad you're getting better and the end is coming soon.
Liz: Of course I drove to Florence? Come on... no rest for the cripple.
Mama Burns: I love the last line... The end is near! I will go put on my sandwich board and warn the neighbors! : )
Free Stilettos... Anyone want to see where I spent my college fund and the real reason I am in debt. Size 6-7 Chinese Laundry and many more... Remember beauty is pain and eventually the shoes will break you in... the oposite will never happen...
I am a not-so recent college graduate. Receiving my Masters in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in technology. I am 26 at the moment, still a crazy magnet. No word on the book yet... this is the closest I have gotten to publishing anything lately.
I am the tech rep at an elementary school in town, and spend my days updating and fixing anything that goes wrong. I love the experience and look forward to every day.
In my spare time, I cook, clean, knit, sing, and dance. Dad is still 77, Corky is 20-something, and mom is spending the rest of her days in Maui...
